01 Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is Abdelmalek MESKIK, trading as MeskikCode, registered in Morocco under the Auto-Entrepreneur regime (ICE 003938004000054), established at A/1/26 Appt 2, Aliance Chouiter, Sidi Abdallah Ghiat, Marrakech 40023, Morocco.
For any question about your data, write to abdelmalek@meskik.com. There is no separate data protection officer: your request reaches the person responsible directly.
02 What we collect
We only collect what we need to answer you and to work with you:
- Discovery form: company name, your name, phone number, email address if you give it, business size, main problem, hosting preference and whether you want a site visit.
- Appointments: the date, place or link, and notes needed to prepare the meeting.
- Messages you send us by phone, WhatsApp or email, and the documents attached to them.
- Contract and invoicing data: company identifiers, billing address, amounts and payments.
- Technical data: server logs kept by our hosting provider for security (IP address, browser, pages requested), and your consent choices.
- Audience and advertising measurement: only if you accept it in the consent preferences.
03 Why we use it, and on what basis
- To answer your request and prepare a proposal — steps taken at your request before a contract, and your consent given on the form.
- To carry out a project and invoice it — performance of the contract.
- To keep accounting and tax records — a legal obligation.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse of the form — our legitimate interest.
- To measure audience and advertising — your consent only, which you can withdraw at any time.
04 How long we keep it
- Requests that do not lead to a project: up to 12 months after our last exchange.
- Contracts, invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as Moroccan commercial law requires.
- Consent choices: 6 months, after which you are asked again.
- Server logs: the period set by our hosting provider for security purposes, and no longer.
05 Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data and never share it for cross-context advertising without your consent. We only pass it to providers who help us run the business, and only what they need:
- our hosting and email providers;
- Meta (WhatsApp) if you choose to write to us there;
- our bank, to receive your payments;
- analytics or advertising providers, only if you have accepted them;
- public authorities, when the law requires it.
06 Transfers outside Morocco
Some providers may process data outside Morocco. Where this happens, we choose providers that offer appropriate safeguards, and transfers are made within the conditions set by Law 09-08 and, where it applies, the GDPR.
07 Your rights
Under Moroccan Law 09-08 you may access, correct and object to the processing of your data. If the GDPR applies to you, you may also ask for erasure, restriction and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete and correct your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share it, and we honour the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out. Exercising these rights never leads to different treatment.
To exercise any right, write to abdelmalek@meskik.com. We reply within one month.
08 Security
Access to your data is limited to the people who need it, connections are encrypted, and backups are made and tested. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident affected your data, we would tell you and the competent authority as the law requires.
09 Children
This site is for businesses. It is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10 Complaints
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can complain to the Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel (CNDP, www.cndp.ma) or, in the European Union, to the supervisory authority of your country.
